We've taken the classic derby-style handle and have given it an ergonomic twist. The ergonomic handle is made of exotic cocobolo wood and is carved specifically for the right hand. Heartwood or the dense inner park of the tree trunk is used to make this comfortable handle. Using this part of the trunk gives it an orange or reddish-brown color and the grain often has dark irregular lines weaving throughout the wood. The shaft is made of beautiful Ebony wood which is naturally very dark brown in color but can have occasional chocolate brown seams, especially in the middle of the larger areas of the wood grain.
