These are adorable but the ad says they are 12 inches long. WRONG! These are exactly 6 inches long. So if you are wanting them for some reason you need 12 inch long candy canes they will not work. Just be aware on that point. We needed them for decorations on a parade float. This size is entirely too small for our intended purpose. Instead of the time consuming return we will use them for something else, like tying them onto packages.Candy Cane Decor for the Christmas tree, cute but I wish they were a little thicker to look more like real candy canes.Not thick enoughAt first I wasn’t sure about these because they seemed skinny, but when I attached hooks to them and hung them on the tree they caught the light and were very pretty. I liked them much better when hanging by a hook rather than hooking the cane itself over the branches.I hung these on tree #2 for effect, and got the effect that I was looking for to complete my "Winter Wonderland"!I didn't read the size description so I was expecting big candy canes from my front yard but I was able to put them on my christmas tree.
