I have been searching for an umbrella stand that is stylish, practical and not insanely expensive. I am glad I had the patience to spend days searching for just what I wanted as this stand fits the bill.Arrived on time. Outer box was somewhat damaged but the stand itself was wrapped and in very good condition - no scratches or dents.It's taller than most stands I have found and is tall enough to hold my 68" golf umbrella (the yellow one in the pictures). It can probably hold an additional 4 more adult sized umbrellas (or walking canes). Not flimsy - a good weight and the metal is thick enough that it shouldn't damage all that easy. Looks good in my entrance hallway (which is long and narrow) and should work well with our future renovation plans. I like that it is a lattice design - should allow for good air flow.The plastic tray in the bottom of the stand that is meant to collect water could be better - it's very thin and probably won't last all that long. But it is something that can be replaced with something better when needed.Very pleased with this purchase!
